Hi, I’m Heather! I relocated to Pilot Mountain from Oregon in July of 2022. While there are so many things I love about this area, I found it challenging to make friends and build a sense of community. After looking into Meetup groups in larger cities, I was disappointed that nothing like that existed here—so I decided to take the leap and create this group myself!
I believe I’m not the only local lady searching for others to connect with and share experiences.
I live with my husband, dog, and cat, and I enjoy tasting at local vineyards, hiking, exploring local businesses, and trying new things. I’m excited to start Local Ladies as a way for women in our area—whether you’re new, a longtime resident, or like me, somewhere in between—to find meaningful connections and community.
My hope is that this group can become a casual, welcoming place for us to come together, build friendships, and support each other.
